Cactus Wren Art Gallery is an up-scale, boutique art gallery, located at the Mercado de Baca center in Tubac, Arizona, renowned as a distinctive art community, and for its culinary and historical offerings.
The gallery is owned by artists Gale Thomssen. Gale creates and designs bead and copper jewelry. Five artist created Cactus Wren. The other four have moved on.
Our gallery offers an exceptional cultural blend of art from our 70 Arizona Artists .

Cactus Wren Art Gallery features paintings in oil, acrylic and mixed media. You can find leather, pottery, glass, gourd, wood furniture and bowls, jewelry, re-purposed art and so much more to explore.

We have two artists that make unique wood tables, Wes and Keith. Mary repurposes furniture too. Here Diane Taylor is demonstrating fusing glass.
Hours are 10 am to 4 pm, seven days a week unless Gale gets there early or decides to stay later.
